This 48 3/8″ wide two-section unit is made with stainless steel for a solid build that minimizes corrosion and required scrubbing from heavy use. This construction in addition to the rounded corners also gives the unit a sleek, less injury-prone design.

A 9 1/2″ deep and 1⁄2″ thick cutting board is smooth and spacious, making it the perfect work surface for putting together food items. A side rail bracket makes it easy to secure and put away the cutting board once you’re done.

You can refrigerate ingredients in the 12 1/6-size food pans on the top compartment so they are always close by when fixing up orders. A fully-insulated stainless steel roll-back lid complete with a stainless steel divider protects the food against spoilage when not in use.

In the storage area beneath, the Blue Air BLPT48-HC Sandwich Prep Table provides 13.1 cubic ft. of cold storage space where you can keep backup food items to quickly refill the top fans when needed. Two (2) epoxy-coated wire shelves can be adjusted up and down to find the right layout for your food supply you need to preserve.

This refrigerated compartment is concealed behind two (2) lifetime guaranteed doors that are constructed with heavy-duty metal for excellent durability. They are also self-closing to avoid the risk of accidentally leaving them open when retrieving and loading items, especially during busy hours. As a precaution, a visual and audible alarm also activates when the doors are not completely closed after use to prevent cold air from escaping and the food from spoiling.

Operating at a temperature range of 33-39°F, this unit uses fans that force cold air into the enclosed compartment to maintain the cold environment your ingredients need. Designed for an energy-efficient operation that won’t trouble the environment, the prep table is insulated with eco-friendly cyclopentane and uses an R-290 refrigerant, which has low ozone depletion level and is 25% more efficient compared to HFC refrigerants. This allows you to get more out of the unit for less!

An electrodeposition-coated evaporator enhances the performance of the unit by maintaining heat transfer rates and reducing wear-and-tear. An innovative hot gas frame heating system is included for lessening condensation and preventing excess energy consumption.

The Blue Air BLPT48-HC Sandwich Prep Table has a self-contained system so it can be used immediately with little to no setup. The 1/4 HP compressor is mounted on the rear for easy maintenance.

This unit features a self-diagnostic digital temperature control and monitor system with a digital display and controls for setting temperature, automatic evaporator fan motor delay, and more.

The prep table has a sliding condensing unit that eases the important process of cleaning. It also comes standard with four (4) 4″ diameter swivel casters with two (2) front brakes for mobility.
